New to the forum but Fender only has records back to 2003 so hoping someone here may be able to help. Recently picked up what is said to be a 90's Gretsch County Classic II in a Walnut finish. It does not have the pad on the back and only one pickup selector (no mud switch like many other country classic models have had).
Only problem is there is no serial number on the back of the headstock and I am having a hard time dating when and where the guitar was made. The store told me it was a USA made model but just looking to see if I bought a gem or a dud. NOt sure if this was a Guitar Center special run or something. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
